Ms. Gupta, an associate in the firm’s Riverside office, devotes her practice to general liability and civil litigation defense. Prior to joining the firm, she worked for over two years representing public entities and their employees in civil actions, and for over a year representing individuals in toxic tort, product liability, and environmental litigation. Ms. Gupta has represented clients through all stages of the litigation process, from inception to resolution.

Ms. Gupta’s career highlights include briefing to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals thrice, drafting substantive and procedural Motions to Dismiss, Demurrers, and Motions for Judgment on the Pleadings that were granted in full, drafting discovery Motions and obtaining sanctions awards and drafting successful Motions for Summary Judgment.
Ms. Gupta enjoys the challenge presented by legal research and writing. As a second-year law student and a student representative at USC’s Immigration Clinic, she sought the opportunity, and was entrusted with the task, to research and draft an Opening Brief to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. The experience taught Ms. Gupta the valuable lesson that seeking out professional challenges is inherently beneficial and rewarding.
