EXPERIENCE

Mr. Casady is a partner in the firm’s Sacramento, California office. His prior professional experience includes more than 13 years as a claims adjuster for a major property and casualty carrier, as well as more than a decade as an arbitrator resolving liability and damage disputes between insurance carriers. He attended law school while working full-time as an adjuster.

Mr. Casady’s state-wide practice consists of general liability and civil litigation with an emphasis on premises liability, automobile and trucking liability, personal injury, construction-related litigation and subrogation prosecution and defense. His extensive insurance knowledge gives him special insight into first and third-party insurance claims and litigation, particularly claims arising from damage to residential and commercial property.

He is a native Californian and has lived in the state all of his life, with the exception of a two-year period when he served as a missionary in Hong Kong, where he became fluent in the Cantonese dialect.

Mr. Casady and his wife are the parents of seven children and reside in Placer County, California. As a family they enjoy vacationing and supporting various sports teams, including the San Francisco Giants and 49ers. Mr. Casady is also a musician who plays piano, organ and percussion. He is also an active member of his church, where he serves in various leadership capacities.
