EXPERIENCE
Mr. Barrett comes to the Riverside office with extensive litigation experience. He has represented clients from Fortune 50 corporations to Mom-and-Pop s-corps to individuals defending personal injury, medical and other professional malpractice, elder law, product liability, employment, civil rights, intellectual property, and other disputes in both federal and state court. Prior to his admission to the bar, Mr. Barrett served in the U.S. Marine Corps, followed by employment as an editor at several scholastic publishing houses.
Mr. Barrett specializes in the defense of insureds in a variety of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, recreational events, third-party employer liability, and other high-exposure matters. Mr. Barrett has first- and second-chair trial experience in California, New York, and New Jersey, and has achieved numerous successful summary judgment decisions on behalf of his clients.
Mr. Barrett is diligent and thorough on behalf of his clients and takes special interest in developing a deep understanding of the clients’ business and personal operations and concerns to achieve the best possible result on their behalf.
