EXPERIENCE
Mr. Kong is assigned to the Riverside office as a Law and Motion and litigation Associate. Prior to that, he worked as a general practice attorney and litigator, primarily representing plaintiffs. He concentrated on the discovery process to gather evidence in support of the clients. Based on the evidence, during court proceedings, he advocated for various motions, including issue sanctions, terminating sanctions, and other dispositive motions.
Mr. Kong also worked for the defense side while he was working at Gordon and Rees, assisting the trial attorneys. He gained experience in insurance defense as a legal field operations attorney at Liberty Mutual Insurance.
Born in South Korea, Mr. Kong graduated from Yonsei University and is fluent in Korean. After completing his studies at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, he practiced law within the Korean community in San Diego. Additionally, he volunteered as a legal advisor for the San Diego Korean-American Association.
